By booking online, you agree to these terms and conditions outlined below.

Rototuna: Rototuna Shopping Centre (Next to Tui Medical)

Ensure you select the correct clinic location when booking.

Payment options

Afterpay available in-store

Payment is expected on the day; we accept cash, EFTPOS, and Afterpay.

Fees

(Effective from 1 September 2024)

Consultation Fee (includes wax removal): $85

Follow-up Consultation Fees:

  • Within 7 days: $45

  • Within 2 weeks: $55

  • Within 1 month: $65

ACC Surcharge for Injuries: $55

ACC Wax Removal for Clients with Funded Hearing Aids: $20 (requires ACC claim number for hearing loss)

Veterans Affairs: $0 (with a valid claim for hearing loss)

  • Our ACC-approved Ear Nurse Specialists can assist with wax removal if ACC contributes to your hearing aids. Provide your ACC claim number when booking.

    Note: There is a small fee as ACCEach appointment lasts approximately 20 minutes.

  • As an ACC Approved Provider, we handle claims for ear canal or eardrum injuries.

    Note: We cannotprocess claims for gradual noise-induced hearing loss—consult your doctor or audiologist for that. ACC doesn't cover wax removal or ear infections from swimming, flying, or cotton bud use unless there's a visible injury. A surcharge applies as ACC doesn't cover the full fee.

  • Tolbecs Ear Centre is an approved provider for Veterans Affairs. We offer free wax removal for approved hearing loss or tinnitus claims. Please provide your 9-digit VA number for claim submission.

  • Tolbecs Ear Centre is a WINZ Registered Provider. Contact us for a quote for your case worker. Appointments can be secured once payment is approved and loaded onto your card.

Appointment availability

We offer some online appointments; for earlier availability, please call our reception.

Appointment guidelines

Each appointment lasts approximately 20 minutes.

Arrive on time; late arrivals may need rescheduling.

Important: Micro suction wax removal and hearing tests cannot be conducted on the same day

Non-attendance policy

Failure to attend without cancellation may affect future online bookings, and the standard consult fee will apply.

Repeated non-attendance will require prepayment for future bookings.

To reschedule, provide at least 4 hours' notice by cancelling online or calling us at 07 856 0002, or the consult fee will apply.
