TOLBECS Ear Centre is an approved provider to Veterans Affairs. If you have an approved claim for hearing loss or tinnitus with Veterans Affairs we are able to see you for wax removal at no cost to you. We will need your 9 digit VA number to submit a claim on your behalf to arrange payment for the consultation.

We have ACC approved Ear Nurse Specialists on staff who are able to see you for wax removal.

If ACC paid towards your hearing aids they will also contribute to the cost of wax removal which is very important to ensure a good result from wearing hearing aids. When booking your appointment please let us know you are with ACC and provide us with your claim number.

There will be a small cost to you as ACC does not reimburse us the full consultation fee.

ACC injuries

TOLBECS Ear Centre is an ACC Approved Provider. We are able to complete an ACC claim form for any injuries relating to ear canal or eardrum. Claims for gradual noise induced hearing loss can only be done by your doctor/audiologist - we are not able to lodge these claims.

ACC does not cover wax removal or treatment of ear infections caused by swimming, flying or cotton bud use. There must be a visible injury to the ear to submit a claim.

There will be a surcharge to pay as ACC does not reimburse us the full consultation fee.

TOLBECS Ear Centre is a WINZ Registered Provider. Contact us for a quote to present to your case worker. Only once payment has been approved/loaded onto your card can you secure an appointment.
