Sometimes people experience a fullness in their ear which feels like their head is full of cotton wool, and their hearing is muffled. Sometimes it is because their ears won’t ‘pop’ properly or it could be more urgent.
One of the ‘danger’ signs for ears is a feeling of fullness in, either the ear, or on the whole side of the head. Some feel like their ears are blocked, even though they can ‘pop’ them well. It is important that this symptom (Aural Fullness) is treated with urgency – the ear needs to be inspected and a hearing test performed.
